What you will get out of our Career Workshop
You will come away from the Workshop with some real information about what employers are looking for. Maybe you have been out of the job market for a while, or maybe you want to change your career - we will be able to help you meet your objective by giving you all the information you require. You will be given a Workbook which you will be able to take away with you which contains lots of helpful advice. So whether you are looking for a new opportunity in the next 6 weeks, 6 months or 6 years the Workbook will be something that you can refer back to, time and time again.
Your CV
Probably the most important piece of paper you will ever create - you have to sell yourself to organisiations. If, like many people, this doesn't come naturally to you, don't worry. We will work with you, using your personal information to create a CV that will stand out from the crowd.
Job Hunting
Where do you start in your search for jobs? The job market has diversified rapidly over the past few years and there are now more places than ever to look for your perfect job. We will help you to identify the best sources for the role and industry sector you are looking to work within.
Interview Technique
So you have used our inside knowledge in steps one and two and you have got an interview, congratulations! We will help you identify what the interviewer is looking for and also help you with those difficult interview questions.
Our Career Workshop
Our Career workshop starts at 9:30am and finishes at around 4:30pm. We include tea/coffee and lunch and even run the sessions at a weekend so you don't have to take time off work.
Each delegate will have a handout pack containing a personal action plan. You will go away from the career workshop, better equipped to land your dream job than the other candidates in the shortlist. Give yourself an unfair advantage!
Who are the Workshop Leaders?
Diana Wood and Fraser Dann have worked for a number of blue chip organisations over the last 20 years and are both experienced recruiters. They have recruited individuals for a variety of roles - it doesn't matter what your background is as the course will cover the whole spectrum of careers. Diana and Fraser are independent trainers who have run career workshops for over 5 years.
